We support children who fight for their health and well-being.

RAMADA WITH CHILDREN focuses on providing international support in emergency contexts. Its mission is to assist children facing multiple challenges, in particular early life exposure to violence and health issues.

We are committed to find effective problem-solving strategies through personalized and innovative programs. We offer an interdisciplinary perspective with the aim of building international networks and a collaborative approach.

Motivated by his professional and personal experience in emergency contexts, Andrea Maniaci conceived an humanitarian project supporting children. After some years, his ideas aligned with the interdisciplinary vision of Eliana Maniaci. They share a passion for exploring the world and discovering the human potential. Guided by an innovative and dynamic mindset, they embrace every project with determination and perseverance. Combining their unique backgrounds, Andrea and Eliana co-founded RAMADA WITH CHILDREN with the aim of developing and providing innovative approaches to the challenges affecting children.


ANDREA MANIACI

Andrea Maniaci has always been passionate about human rights, in particular improving children’s quality of life and wellbeing. After traveling through many countries and witnessing humanitarian crisis, he helped many local communities in need. He raised money and awareness about poverty, and he offered his support in particular in Cambodia and Uganda, where he volunteered in an orphanage. In collaboration with the Romanian Red Cross, he also coordinated an emergency project with Maurizio Boschini (the graphic designer behind every project of Ramada) and delivered vans of humanitarian goods (such as medicine, medical supplies, hygiene kits, water, and food) to help refugees affected by the conflict in Ukraine and hosted at the border with Romania.
Andrea is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt professor and he teaches to adults, teens and children from two years old. He always promotes the benefits and positive effects of martial arts in school and children’s life.


ELIANA MANIACI, PhD

Dr. Eliana Maniaci is an anthropologist specialized in Anthropology of Death, violence, and torture. She earned her Ph.D. (with the International Doctor Mention) from the Universitat de València & Universitat Politècnica de València. She was a visiting PhD student at the Postgraduate Department of Physical Anthropology (Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology), at the National School of Anthropology and History (Mexico City). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, a master’s degree in European and Pan-American Languages and Literatures (University of Bergamo), and a master’s degree in Skeletal and Forensic Anthropology, and Paleopathology (Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna).
Her passion for criminal behavior and violent death led her to work in fragile contexts and human rights. She participated in international fieldworks, and she gave conferences, lectures, and courses (United Nations Institute for Training and Research, United States, Europe, Mexico). Her research interests focus on the treatment of the human body from an interdisciplinary perspective, violence, criminal rituals and punitive body modifications (mainly in East Asia).
